Read the card again. It specifically says "opponent"; teammates are not opponents.
It works okay in chaos multiplayer where you have "frenemies", the same way that Zedruu the Greathearted and so on do. But even then; this is not an effect worth spending a card on. Much less worth spending a rare on.
Really? I get 6 life and my team-mate gets three? Seems like a nice boost to me. Combine with the various cards that do good stuff in response to lifegain and off you go.
Urk. This seems awful by comparison with the others. Maybe it could make Soldier tokens?

How's this for a take on red card advantage? Is it legitimately red? It's just a Mad Prophet with built-in Illusionist's Bracers, after all :)
Well, it wipes the opponents board, and you can ensure the next few turns aren't useful draws for them. no use if the board is already clear, true.
Blerg. A mythic Totally Lost, and a ten-mana "you'd really better win the game now" spell that actually doesn't do anything if both players are in topdeck mode. I don't think I like it.

I had no idea that second card existed! Now my idea seems a lot less original. Oh well.
Heh. Fun :) Your choice of Inspiration or Vision Skeins, though if you can afford the one I can't see why you'd want the other. But an Inspiration that you can pseudo-cycle for 2 mana if you're short on lands is a handy.
I should have put this at the beginning, but I thought a card like this explored new territory with the "overload" mechanic.

It seems kind of unnecessary to have deathtouch on a creature that's going to be pretty large anyway. "Deathtouch is spelled wrong on the card by the way. It could be in "Wedges of Arala".
