EVERY DAY I'M TEMPLATIN'.
Made a few edits to wording and abilities.
Is that a bit more balanced?
Altered the cost and P/T.
Like, say, Juzam Djinn?
that's not a drawback, that's an advantage. e.g. Earthquake at will with no repercussion. It won't fit a lot of decks, but the decks you put it in wouldn't care about targeting him. He'll just be a cheap 6/6 with zero drawback in most decks.
Nah, reminder text doesn't have to be precise.
It's a relatively minor drawback on such a big body, though.
Quick question--do I have to include "blocked" in the reminder text if the creative's controller can't block him to begin with?
Removed haste for power adjustment, and added reminder text for "oomph"
Another possibility I've been considering for this card is" protection from you." However, as cool as that would sound, I don't think it would be well received. Plus, it feels kind of out of flavor. I'm definitely going to put that on another card, though.
I like the idea. Looks like the kind of card I'd put in one of my decks.
A few minor nitpicks, though: Are you sure the +1/+1 ability isn't a bit too green?
One more thing--the current wording is "~this~ can't be blocked." Also, don't forget to capitalize the "E" in "AEther."
Added reminder text for shroud.
I decided to just give her shroud. Even though Wizards doesn't print that ability anymore, it's still keyworded, and there's nothing stopping me from using it. Plus, it's perfect considering that she's blue and green.
Implemented a more elegant solution to the "blinking" problem.
Yeah what if you were just to give it shroud? I know the keyword is phased out now, but you could even just spell it out on the card.
Also yeah I totally used to play fast magic and hated it because it wasn't spelled out in the rules. But this would make it official and I love it lol.
Did you intend the anti-blinking clause to "save" this from Path to Exile and create (I think) an infinite loop with Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void?
I'm glad you noticed the potential for cheating. I've added a special "f*** you" clause to fix it.
Added a clunky clause to prevent cheating.
Interesting idea. And costs enough that it's not completely smashing the mana curve into irrelevance; just making the game go faster once it gets started.
Ignoring bounce tricks for a moment; the other obvious good thing to do with it is to stuff your deck with land; and a few REALLY big spells. Drop this, drops 6 land a turn while casting the things you do draw. Boom.
Heh. Damia, Sage of Stone did something quite similar to the second half. I think the first half is the more broken, but at five mana it's much less worrying.
Sadly, one of the best things to do with this is blink it or bounce it each turn, so that you're the only one to benefit from it :>
Don't know if this makes it any more usable, but at least it's not completely stupid now.
Alright, changed the name.
