The
seems an easy enough tweak... gotta think about the other stuff.
Whee! So if you cast this with 6 normal lands out, you get 9 mana. Which is reasonable for a 6-mana ritual. Cast it with 8 lands (floating 2 mana) and you have a total of 14 mana afterwards.
And it goes completely bonkers if you have Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or Cabal Coffers or Crypt of Agadeem, or even Crystal Quarry. Even a humble Simic Growth Chamber taps for 6 mana.
Which is all probably fine on a 6-mana sorcery, especially one in a supplemental multiplayer-targeted product as I assume this is. We're at the same cost as Mana Reflection here, which is permanent, after all. And you need two funny-lands to get any serious power out of it.
So putting it all together... yeah, this is cool :)
Yeah. Golgari Thug's ability is often a drawback.
Wow. This would absolutely smash the board in my Reaper King EDH deck. Also pretty strong in an Allies deck: even with just Hagra Diabolist and Murasa Pyromancer on the battlefield, casting this with X=3 then pulling the counters off in response to the trigger gets you 20 lifeloss and 4 copies of Fiery Fall.
It also goes infinite with Cathars' Crusade or Juniper Order Ranger. But those cards are rather easily broken. You might like to consider adding a cost of
to the token-making ability, though, like Pentavus/Triskelavus/Spike Breeder.
Strongly suggest "You may", sometimes you just need a body.
Yeah, I gotta turn him down a bit... I want a new cycle of Titan-y things with equivalent 1-cost common sorcery effects on 'em, but this is a bit high at 6/6 especially...
