Actually, if we're giving up having to enchant Runebinder, I think we can make it really simple. Going with the Lost Auramancers wording.
Even though I like the idea of Runebinder turning into a 0/0 with two auras on it, it really limited its usage. If you didn't put a p/t boosting aura on with the first activation, the second would be completely useless.
If it is overpowered, you should be excited to play To Arms!.
You could say that it shouldn't have the function of To Arms! and a cantrip fog, but I don't really see the same deck wanting both. If it was an easy clean fix, I'd make it, but it's not worth muddying up the card for.
Not sure if it's an intended loop-hole, but if played during the caster's post combat main phase, it effectively becomes "Creatures you control gain Vigilance UEOT. Draw a card." Which seems over powered for 1W.
Perhaps a "Play only before the combat damage step." restriction to prevent this?
Made it cost 3BBB and a sorcery. Instant speed blockers seemed wrong for black. As is, I think it's still a compelling card, but not that powerful of one.
Upgraded back to a rare (and made more versatile) due to space issues.

It feels more like Fatal Blow to me. This was actually most recently printed as Crystallization.
Yeah, it's definitely a pain. You could get around it by saying "and attach it to a creature you control", like Stonehewer Giant.
Probably. The template would be Sage Owl, so yes, as you said except with an extra comma.
Ahh... yes, of course. Very nice.
Shouldn't you drop the "you" in the +1 ability? Just "Look at the top five cards of your library then put them back in any order."
put a 1/1 colorless Worker artifact creature tokenS
This one has less of a drawback though--you can't really build a deck around reliably keeping someone below 10 life ;)
