Fracture: You may pay PARAM1 and exile CARDNAME, if you do, cast the spell on the back of the card without paying its mana cost. Used on 21 cards: (show) Grinning Jackal, Corrupt Heritage, Worker of Miracles, Nekheb's Seeker, Impling, Symbol of Ma'at, Eagle Summoning, Tainted Research, Docile Charm, Unbidden Horror, Nu, Force of Oblivion, Legion Leader, Wisp Fragment, Guardian of the House, Well Wishing, Eagle Familiar, Firm Believer, Frail Ibis, Ma'at Enforcer, Nullstone, Warped Reality

This mechanic is to represent the unstable nature of magic breaching Ma'at has caused.

The nature of the spell has "fractured" mid-way, and instead turned into something else.

Spell Swap: PARAM1, return target spell you control to its owner's hand: You may cast this card without paying its mana cost. Used on 17 cards: Strayed Hymns, Last Minute Salvage, Necropolitic Accident, Alchemist's Disaster, Rousing Speech, Loyal Protector, Unfortunate Mishap, Abandon the Fields, Surprising Discovery, Channel the Powers, Conversion through Sand, Mud-caked Incursion, Wild Reclamation, March of Dunes, Senseless Vengeance, Seed Duplicity, Sigil of Protection

This is another "chaos" thing, harken to Aura-swap

Catalyze: Whenever you cast a spell that shares a card type with this permanent, you may sacrifice it. If you do, reduce the cost of that spell by PARAM1 Used on 7 cards: Open the Granaries, Cursed Shambler, Plated Monstrosity, Tithe-bound Mummy, Deformed Jackal, Grimacing Ibis, Eternity Chimera

This mechanic is elaborated to change colors now, because of the chaos.

Also kinda needed b/c of the limited color fixing.

Living Glyph: You may exile this spell as it resolves. If you do, cast the spell on the back of the card without paying its mana cost. Used on 7 cards: Nephryos, Rak'het, Syril-he, Ptah'ret, Prek'hast, Anh-Kah, Ur-Atun

This is an version of Fracture/Destabilize that works on split cards that are {spell/X} instead {permanent/X}

They will only be featured in "Decree" subtypes. Decree itself represents the attempt of magicians to invoke magic using words instead of the Primal Forces.

This is different in that it illustrated that the spell itself never made it through, and instead changed its nature as it was cast.

In card text or details pages, write the mechanic's code name (playtest name) between square brackets, like "[Crittercast]", "[Bushido 1]" or "[Delay 4 {2}{R}{R}]". It will be expanded to the mechanic's name plus reminder text, such as "Suspend 4 – {2}{r}{r}. (Rather than cast this spell from your hand,...)"
To expand a mechanic's name but not its reminder text, include parentheses at the end of the square brackets: "[Crittercast()]", "[Delay 9 {R}()]".
