"it's converted mana cost" refers to the creature or the aura?
Updated the wording and reworked the mechanics wording as well.
I want blood rite to only be a reduction in the mana cost, Thank you Alex for the wording suggestion, I have updated Bone Hoard Wurm to the suggested wording.
Wording suggestion:
> Whenever enchanted creature deals damage to you, draw a card.
Since this isn't changing control, just moving around, it's fine to say "you" rather than "CARDNAME's owner".
But actually I think it might be just as interesting to let it apply to any creature:
> Whenever enchanted creature deals damage to a player, draw a card.
By the way, normally this effect is in blue and is common or uncommon (Curiosity, Ophidian Eye).
Also, curse is curiously restrictive. (It's also a word that in Magic has come to mean Auras that enchant players, as in Curse of the Bloody Tome and Curse of Shallow Graves.) Why not simply grant the Aura an activated ability to move, like Detainment Spell, Felidar Umbra, and Stasis Cell? (If you do want to move the aura only at the moment a new creature arrives, you probably don't need to pay any mana for it: note that Prison Term doesn't, and is more effective than this card at stopping the creature attacking you.)
Blood rite only negates the mana cost, right? You still have to tap it?
Do you want blood rite to negate the need for a creature card in a graveyard? If you do want it negated under blood rite, it should go before the colon:
>

,
, Exile a creature card from a graveyard: Put a +1/+1 counter on ~. Then ~ deals damage etc etc
If you don't want the exile-a-dead-thing negated under blood rite, the easiest way to make that clear is to move the exiling after the colon and make it target:
>

,
: Exile target creature card from a graveyard. Put a +1/+1 counter on ~, then ~ deals damage etc etc.
Didn't think of that, Thanks Vitenka Updated the mechanic to say once each turn.
Interesting.
Kind of like a banerette; it's going to die quite soon; but as long as you can keep it alive; it'll be whomping on everything else quite a bit. Very much a 'build around me' hint. I like it.
Oooh, blood-rite sounds like a nice idea for an ability.
I'm a bit scared what happens if you combine this with equipment or auras that grant additional abilities. I'm pretty sure it would allow Firebreathing or similar to break the game completely.
