There's no card advantage here, surely? This card, the land, two discards - that's four. Then you draw four. So it's 'just' red-looting for four. Which is still potetially good, since you can get rid of four you don't want in exchange for hopefully drawing what you do. But strictly null on the advantage?
I think, I made a Tormenting Voice variant of this once, but all I can find right now is Rock to Gemstone.
The card advantage is technically the same since you likely played the land from hand anyway, but this kind of spell plays very different early vs. late game, since setting yourself back early is a far greater risk/inadvisable.
Four is a lot of cards, it's almost wheeling for 2 mana but saccing a land is defo a harsh cost - sort of Cathartic Reunion pushed beyond. It's the type of card I would love to test out.
Listen to me! DFCs with seabound/skybound.
Yo, we don't care about the amount of text here.
"sacrifice an untapped Water" to "sacrifice a Water"
You're probably right. Since it's a sacrifice, and you're not replenishing the Water token, it's probably fine to just leave it as sacrifice.
No, and I'm not interested in Convoke for Aquatic; Convoke has no flavor for the setting. I'm not interested in convoke as a consequence of using Water tokens.

Speaking of non-parasitic mechanics for the two supertypes. Have you considered convoke for aquatic cards?
See here.
That "untapped" feels forced and not entirely necessary. So the water tokens tapped for some reason? Big deal?
If there was any flavor to gust, I've long since forgot it. I chose to keep Gust because it was one of the only aerial mechanics I'd developed that wasn't parasitic.
WW to 1W
Does gust have any flavor.
I gather that it wants to benefit from the evasion aerial creatures have not printed on them, but that's purely a mechanical reason.
Could probably cost .
