was missing X's definition
Not technically a scorpion, hence creature type. Fight me.
@Froggychum I was going for the methane hypothesis of the Permian-Triassic extinction event. The CO2 hypothesis would still work without conjuring farts.
Here's another issue:
This card's name sorta translates into "Fart" kekekek
Maybe something slightly different? I don't know your lore here, but given this card in a vacuum, maybe some version of "Gas Attack" would be better?
Personally, I like "Neurotoxin Deployment"
My thought process went as follows
1. Remove sky counters to board wipe creatures.
2. Not feeling mythic. Make removal more impactful?
3. Considered one-siding to nonaerial creatures plus enchantment/planeswalker removal.
4.One-sided removal seemed to strong for 4 mana
5.Planeswalker and enchantment hate still on [the] table.
6. Don't want to field wipe of all other permanents, but knocking out a few planeswalkers or enchantments is probably significant.
These effects seem kind of messy and glued together. Why three?
UEOT to "Until the end of your next turn"
reprint, seemed to fit the set
Followed SecretInfiltrator's suggestion.
To make this a little less linear, how about:
If an aquatic source you control would deal damage to an aerial permanent this turn, it deals double that damage to that permanent instead.
Considered naming "Declaration of the Deep" instead
I was actually looking for cards to reference aerial (and aquatic) without their counter (or token in aquatic's case), which is why I opted for aerial in the creature type here.
How strongly does your set rely on this kind of effect being "aerial tribal"? This e. g. seems like an effect you could cross the "aerial" off of without much issue.
