Each upkeep? That's awesome, but probably too powerful.
Nasty. Good nasty. I like how the Zombies work with the Equip cost.
Heh, so it does, I wasn't even thinking about that at the time, I just tweaked Kheredos, Dreadlord's ultimate for it. lol
Reminds me of Unscythe, Killer of Kings.
The reason I left him with a casting cost was for other abilities that can put creatures on the battlefield without "playing" them. Also I had another card that interacted with Knights that got cut from the set.
That depends on whether you're talking about classic Zoom or "new coke" Hunter Solomon Zoom :-)
SadisticMystic and Dude's idea was a good one. But I wonder if the better answer is to simply not give this guy a casting cost? The first ability could just be ": Put ~ onto the battlefield from exile. You may activate this ability only when you could cast a sorcery." A bit less cute, but much cleaner to parse, I think.
Also, someone's got to keyword "You may activate this ability only when you could cast a sorcery." Not having a reverse flash is getting kind of annoying. Where is Professor Zoom when you need him?
Thanks for the help guys, he looks much cleaner now.
Haakon, Stromgald Scourge says the "only" part should be "but not from anywhere else".
What if you combine lines 2 and 4 into "You may cast ~ from exile and only from exile."?
If you play it from exile, the card goes to the stack, and only tries to enter the battlefield from there, which the card prevents. You might want to change that somehow or else the card is completely dead.
Yeah it is and that's one of the big things, what will his lifecycle/lifespan be ? Imagine how the Intaki could spread with lifespans of centuries or more - they'd overwhelm everything. Can the elves trust that nurture is as strong or straonger than nature? will Taki turn on them if left free?
Well both sides currently want to control him, the elves because he can "hear" the Intaki Hivemind and would be as great tactical asset; the Intaki because they can "hear" Taki and therefore he is part of the hive.
How it will all turn out is anyone's guess (at least until set 3)
Kind of funny combining a creature that has a normal life span of a few years with a creature that has a life span in the thousands, eh?
2/2 seems like a big toddler. The bonuses he grants make it seem like he's definitely revered rather than reviled.
He's about 2 or 3 at this point
So, he's a baby?
Card Background: The Intaki Infiltrators became so realistic that they actually became "Elves" many developing their own personalities and living as elves. The birth of Taki has revealed the infiltrators as he has obvious insectoid features - most notably compound eyes.
