  It's a bit odd to have this end up so similar to Resplendent Mentor, when the rest of your Mentor cycle have been so pleasingly different from Shadowmoor's Mentor cycle.

  Did you mean for this to be a 2/2 for 2 mana in black with an upside? Generally black doesn't get that. Walking Corpse was the most efficient 2-drop can get you when it was printed.

  I imagine you already know this, but this is too similar to Bloodshot Trainee. It'll work exactly the same 95% of the time.

  Black and red feel right for him. I would make him black, red, and green, but that's jund colors and this guy doesn't feel jund to me. I think white because of white's need for laws, rules, and regulations. That said, he's white unless I can find another three color combo that better fits him.
