These seem comparable to the Mercadian Masques common land cycle, Saprazzan Skerry and friends. Those were good - they allowed some explosive starts - but I think these shouldn't have quite the explosive potential. They seem fine to me.
noted. Was trying to convey the flavour of settlers clearing new land for farming via the mechanics of the card. Any better suggestions for this are welcome.
It is nothing like Ancient Tomb. The cycle ETBs tapped, provides colourless mana as a base, and can provide double colour every 2nd turn. Have tested these lots and so far they seem fine, good conditionally but overall worse than a Plains.
Even if you want your cards to not be that good, these kind of cards are so situational that it often doesn't matter how good they are in Limited or Block.
I agree with Alex. If you have interactions with these cards, I'd at least suggest the Cave land (": Add to your mana pool." and nothing else). If you need mining counters for these interactions (I haven't checked), make the card playable at least. :P
Not a fan of white having this effect (I don't like Kor Cartographer, but I do agree that if white gets it it should get Plains and be slightly worse than green (I consider Wood Elves slightly worse than Farhaven Elf or Ondu Giant).
Don't worry. As it is, it is a good trick (and card advantage) but at uncommon it makes it as okay as a full Dispense Justice. Powerful if done right, but a bit harder to do right than one might think.
One thing I'd do, though, is make the cost . Splashing for this seems a bit wrong since there are two very white effects.
"Divide and conquer"? This makes creatures block in groups and punishes those alone. How is that divide and conquer?
how is it looking now?
Yes, this is a nice find.

Yeah brainwas was one of the inspirations for this but I felt that the
cost was too good for just
.

this one is still a work-in-progress. There are cards that care about mines and mining counters.

Wow. Very cool.
Repeatable Ancient Tombs at common? Maybe you want to increase the rarity?

Justified then. :)

I love how the magic of Seals makes all the cycle enchantments.
