In another setting maybe that would be right. Remember in the first set of the block, the power level is deliberately a little low to represent how hard it is to marshall enough mana to cast a spell effectively. maybe I can represent that with an alternate casting cost that makes it weaker. ? or make it {w} & controller only need to pay 2 ???

In case you were wondering, Brainwash exists. But this is not strictly worse and actually seems okay.

Yeah brainwas was one of the inspirations for this but I felt that the {3} cost was too good for just {w} .
