Changed to +1/+0 and trample, changed to sorcery, reduced Portal cost by 1.
Changed it to something different. Kind of drawing from Leyline of Anticipation and Prophet of Kruphix.
I sort of see what you mean with white, with the weenie-synergy.
I definitely seem to be drawing from classic powerful enchantment cards for inspiration for the 2nd side of alot of these. I do want the effect to feel significant, especially considering it's legendary. But I haven't quite nailed down what the right power level should be for these, or much in the way of consistency in their effect or feel.
I definitely am considering swapping around some of the abilities on these double creature ability granting cards. Though it seems a bit hard to juggle with the limitations of evergreen keywords in each color.
I may also consider changing route on these cards and altering the costs and effects to reflect only one ability.
Yea, I figured this one was pushing it, with Faunel, Gate Town as a runner up. It was my first stab in the dark at fitting Mechanus's theme. There are other possibilities. Something to do with artifacts, as Mechanus is home of the Modrons and basically the artifact-themed plane of pure law.
I always thought that effect would have been a better fit for white. Green would be more "Creature spells with converted mana cost 6+ cost
less to cast."
Though I guess Elvish Visionary going "Oops I just my entire deck!" is always fun and even kinda not that unfair at a higher mana cost.
Instant-speed trample can be nice to overrun blockers, but has negative synergy with granting vigilance since that only matters before attackers are declared and means this may as well be a sorcery.
Not actually a splendid fit.
Um yeah; wow. To a first approximation, lands re impossible for anyone to deal with. And this one is "Creatures? Nope." which is both ridonkulously powerful as well as stupidly annoying. And all I gotta to is get to turn 6? Playing a non-creature deck with ways to tap stuff? OUCH.
You should concentrate on positive effects for the back faces of these cards. Hard to remove effects that lock a player out of the game create resentment, while hard to remove effects that strongly advance their controller without hindering their opponents from playing their cards are given leniency.
All those planeswalkers and enchantments not untapping are really going to be an issue for Gideon.
Changed to "creature or planeswalker".
Increased Portal cost to 3UU.
