Increased cost to 4UU.
Replaced regenerate with recursion to hand on death.
Reduced Portal cost to 3U.
Decided to change from prowess to hexproof. Prowess isn't evergreen anymore, and while Hexproof may seem somewhat redundant or overlapping with self-bounce, they still compliment each other. Also fits the flavor of the ethereal.
Changed from prowess to hexproof.
Removed "transformed".
Changed name from redundant "Bariaur Hunter" to "Beastland Hunter".
Added 1 to cost.

I'm thinking pretty much all of these will have to cost an extra
, whatever the ability combos are. You not only get 2 abilities, but Portal on top of it. So one colored and one colorless seems fair.
Replaced prowess with hexproof.
I simply removed the word "transformed" from the 2nd side. It's slightly confusing on the face of it, but since it's built into the DFC rules that the card automatically reverts, I believe it works as intended.

I get why you'd call it a "troll move" though I think of it as a "potential prep move". It just seems like blue doesn't have a lot of options for creature keywords otherwise. I could just go with Hexproof though.
Originally I was thinking Menace + Deathtouch, though it's an oddly interactive combo - basically "If you block me, two creatures die". Which just sort of makes Menace that much closer to "unblockable" in practise.
Not so much not aware of but something I forget, and confusing to work with when I'm dealing with bouncy effects.
How else would I word it to do what's intended? Simply "return [Cardname] to its owner's hand", and then it automatically reverts in hand then?
Mmm... it is very very good. Shokckingly; it seems to occur in only one place - Ankle Shanker, which is a mythic in three colours.
So maybe this is a bit more shocking than it looks. It's also really quite good for
.
First strike plus deathtouch is a very potent combination relative to other evergreen keyword combinations.
If you double down on a keyword ability, I'd choose lifelink over first strike here.
EDIT: Though on a 3/3 lifelink might also be too much, still safer than other options. You can always go with menace plus deathtouch which is offfensively much like unblockable, but far less intimidating as a blocker.
Granting prowess until end of turn on possibly the only noncreature spell of the turn is a troll move. The confusion with players makes the front side alone something unadvisable at common - just one reason prowess is not a good evergreen keyword mechanic.
What does returning to the hand transformed even mean? Now I can no longer play it? Why?
Wait... Could it be that you are not aware of the rules of DFCs? A DFC outside of the battlefield automatically "reverts" to the front face. ("revert" in the sense that the back face is treated by rules as nonexistent outside the battlefield).
Added missing word "to" on 2nd side. Duh.
Thinking I may have to add (1) to the main cost of these, as it feels a little pushed to get both abilities for one mana on a common.
