Potentially broken? Should the P/T be lower? The idea is that any one of the fulfilled requirements can trigger the card draw.
Not-Numidia. Feeling I might be too on the nose with these factions.
And now for the anti-
4-cycle. Pretty mediocre filler for an aggressive deck that you might side in against a White-heavy deck. In a normal draft pod, the ideal is to get around 3-6 players in White instead of the normal 2-4. Maybe this will turn out to be a bad idea!
Somewhat flashy mythic? There are a lot of prison-effects in this set so far Don't expect too much more outside of the main mechanics!
My original design had this guy have an activated ability that stifled something during combat, but I am pretty sure its a strong stretch of the color pie.
Not-Scipio design. Basandra, Battle Seraph + Odric, Master Tactician. Two Rares make a Mythic right?
Last of the 4-cycle. Similar to Titan's Strength and Reckless Charge. Most pump spells are offensive-oriented sorceries. Not sure how well that is going to turn out for gameplay.
Basically Map the Wastes. Might need to do a pass-over eventually and make sure the power level is correct.
Nevermind, I had a better idea.
The black one of the white-based cycle. Not sure I like both of the blue/black cards in the cycle being card draw.
Significantly weaker than Altar's Reap due to being a sorcery.
Not-Hannibal. Tried to capture two things: His ability to force Rome into a fight, and him always wrecking them in said fight (except Zama but we don't talk about that).
Not sure how powerful this is for a mythic. Almost always a free lava axe at minimum is pretty strong, but I am hesitant to cost it more aggressively (preferrably a 3/3 for 4 but that seems really strong).
Not-so-subtly based off of the Gracchi Brothers. I should really increase the female population of this plane at some point.
Not sure if Citizen tribal is something I want to do still, but I figure I might as well since Icatian Crier is one of my favorite Time Spiral cards for no reason whatsoever.
Strictly better Divination is rather questionable - perhaps more so on a principle level rather than power level.
I've got to say that the concept of the set is shaping up nicely. There's certainly potential here.
Might make this a 4-cycle. Eventually I will also have to make an effort on creating non-White-centric cards too.
Common that can be used offensively (2/2s and lower can't block him effectively) or defensively (as a blocker that softens an attack in if removed). Need a better name than Grudge though, probably.
