Yeah, Ogar isn't all that synergistic with his ultimate. More importantly the whole card makes you want to wait to drop creatures while you power him up.
I made him only as a 5cmc better Infest and didn't really think about his other abilities. I'll try to fix that soon.
I was comparing it more along the lines of Garruk, Primal Hunter, expecting one less mana and starting loyalty, as well as a second color, would make it more apt to have the beefier french vanilla.
Yick! Barter in Blood as a +1? Innocent Blood would be bad enough. In fact, this guy just seems ironic: what are the chances of having any creatures left by the time he hits his ultimate?

?
I know that are plenty of cards that are outright better than Cancel, but I can't help but think this should cost at least
more.

Bit of a theme here: -3 for Sleep, or -7 for universal Sigil of Sleep :)
Er, yeah, that's absurd. Compare with Elspeth, Knight-Errant's +1, or indeed Garruk Wildspeaker's -2. And it's not like Garruk was weak!

Hahaha! A Planeswalker who really wants you to hit his ultimate loyalty exactly!
So you need to have an instant of CMC <=3 in your graveyard, in exchange for which you get it back, and get to cast Soulblast next turn.
Excellent point. I'll just drop intimidate.
These are some scary planeswalkers.
Deathtouch and intimidate don't really go together.
Put an angel into play for +1. Yow.
