This seems like a good place to put a cycle, but it has this little problem of "If I only ever have one of these (or maybe a blue one as well) in my deck, this seems like an unnecessary exercise). I think I'm getting around this by making the card better with each successive casting... so if your deck packs 4 of this card, it still makes sense to track where the counters are going. Kind of like how Aether Flame gets better and better. Still kind of bugs me, though. Wizards doesn't like it when this happens. Any players have a real problem with it?
Nope. Nice try, but it's older than that.
Though, now that I look at it, I seem to have thrown you off by naming my main villain "Atticus". He's no Finch, though.
Is that from To Kill a Mocking Bird? The name sounds familiar.
Super bonus points for anyone who recognizes the name/flavor text.
So what card would you prefer? A Sorcery that makes one player lose 3, gain 3, or a sorcery that makes all opponents lose 2 and you gain 2 per opponent? Seems like this is a straight-up litmus of "Do you prefer multi-player?", though, I do admit, this has a higher chance of seeing constructed play if you normally play with 7 people...
When looking for effects that I would like to repeat throughout the game, I figured Abeyance / Cease-fire] worked nicely. Thought about making this a tax of
... but I guess that card would cost
? And I probably wouldn't have the flavor text space? Oh well.
Heh. Indeed nice. Reminiscent of Think Twice.
Evidently it does. Though, for the life of me, I have no idea why "each turn" is necessary. I gave homage to the templating gods and edited it anyway.
Shouldn't it say "blocks each turn" if able?
For notes on Salvage, see (((Do Over))). This is a pretty snazzy Inspiration variant, if you ask me...
