Ooh. I think it does get battle cry, actually. The game has no reason to look back in time to before attacking tapped the creature, so it looks at permanents just after the declaration of attackers to see what abilities trigger.

The one-sided Torpor Orb with Urabrask is pretty clever. This could definitely show up in tournaments.

It's a hoser, for sure, but I made it for several other reasons. I made it so that tapping planeswalkers accomplishes something, and so that artifacts and enchantments can be shut off by tapping them, so you can stop a player from benefitting from Font of Mythos or Paradox Haze. Of course, I'm sure it has many uses outside of what I've considered. With Urabrask the Hidden it shuts down ETBs abilities. It also turns off Flanking and Bushido, though I don't think it affects Battlecry. The list goes on.

Alternatively, the drawback could be "At the beginning of your upkeep, shuffle ~ into its owner's library unless you spend two gold counters." Since it's not optional, it would feel more red.
