Heh... needs to exile if it would put it back in your library. Otherwise, Vampiric Tutor gets kind of wierd.
Could it say "If a card you don't own would be put into a zone you do own," or something? Because that then covers graveyards, too.
You could, but then you wouldn't get the pleasure of sacrificing your Terramorphic Expanse and putting an opponent's Island into play on your side. Personally, I like the whole 'Protean Hulk' turns into a weird Bribery' sort of thing, but I could understand why you'd want the card to be more 'narrow'.
Well, the rules already do prevent other players' cards going into your hand, library or graveyard. (Sufficiently so that I'm not completely sure the last sentence works, because a card you don't own would never be put into your hand because the rules prevent it.
I also don't see why Link's proposed wording would prevent Terramorphic Expanse any more than Rampant Growth.
The battlefield is a shared zone.
