I never know what to say when someone dies. It sucks. It sucks worse than sucking to the point that all conversation on or around the subject, or of anything else feels petty. My condolences as well. It's, unfortunately, the best I have to offer.
Good on you, though, for finishing his work on Multiverse. Darkheart was lucky to have a brother that cared about the things he also cared about.

Due to my prolonged absence due to health reasons, I have not had the time to finish this set. As the worlds have some similar flavors, I will be merging this set with my Shadowsun set.
Stay tuned
It's kinda both now. I can see that; sometimes you want one, sometimes you want the other - rarely do you want both, and it's wonderful - countered by occasionally you really want the mana but really don't want to ditch any other of your cards.
It's still gonna be a staple. (And the bauble and wraith have a mana or life-cost downside. Manamorphose I'm surprised at though - I'd have put that in the "Run four without thinking, so that you can build a 56 card deck" category.)
I'll point out that all of Vitenka's points except the 3-drop-on-round-2 still apply to Manamorphose, Street Wraith, Conjurer's Bauble etc, and those don't get played very much.
The cantrip -> would only get banned in formats with Storm cards. And I think the problem there is the Storm cards not the rituals.
This current version is fun. Though I wonder whether it might confuse people as to its role: is it meant to be Wild Guess or Pyretic Ritual?
Yeah, but it's still really really good; manamorphose was just colour filtering.
This is "Play an even better fast aggro creatuure on turn 2, and don't even have to give up a card for it and make my deck more reliable because this isn't really taking up a card slot and it sorta means I don't need as much land and..."
Possibly fair? But really really good, in a "If there was a red ritual, and this, I'd have a hard time choosing between them (and would want both)" way.
Since this is now fulfilling the Manamorphose role, I'd guess it can be instant.
I don't think the -> version was broken though. As you say, there's a 4-card limit, and it's only monored decks that'd like it, and it has the classic free-cantrip problem like Street Wraith that it reduces your knowledge of your hand when mulliganing.

Like this? which brings it back to closer to what I wanted originally.
It saddens me too, Alex. But let's be honest. That card would be banned in a year.
That said, if the card said "discard a card, then draw a card" I don't think there would be any real problem with it.

Yep, seems sensible. Reminds me of Viashino Fangtail, but this is more common-suitable these days.
Akoum Boulderfoot, Blisterstick Shaman, Forge Devil (sorta), Sparkmage Apprentice ...
So yeah, lots of things do this. None this size; but I don't see any reason why not, it's been both bigger and smaller.
