Mechanics | Urthona | Skeleton

Just a quick note - whilst everything I have posted so far has reinforced the "Ice Age" like aspect of the setting, there is much more to it than just that. As more cards post the main theme - That of the Dying Sun - will come clear. Black for instance, has several cards that deal with how it is slowly getting darker for longer (including one or two Vampires unsurprisingly).

Like the theme/idea. Kinda reminds me of A Game of Thrones with the winters that can last centuries. I might would suggest using vanishing or fading as a mechanic, but that combined with the dying sun theme would make it very similar to my Aeons set.

Hmm I actually just read the first four books a few months ago so maybe I was influenced by them - great read btw.

I wanted to do a set that didn't have a BIG BAD or War theme to it so I ended up going for "Try to stop the pending apocalypse".
Kinda like you see in the movies - those in power find out & go "we better hush this up to avoid a panic whilst we try to find out how to stop it" then the panic hits (set 2) and finally at the last minute (set 3) they either avert disaster or minimalise it's effects as best as possible.

Due to my prolonged absence due to health reasons, I have not had the time to finish this set. As the worlds have some similar flavors, I will be merging this set with my Shadowsun set. Stay tuned

My condolences to you.

I never know what to say when someone dies. It sucks. It sucks worse than sucking to the point that all conversation on or around the subject, or of anything else feels petty. My condolences as well. It's, unfortunately, the best I have to offer.

Good on you, though, for finishing his work on Multiverse. Darkheart was lucky to have a brother that cared about the things he also cared about.

Post your comments on Urthona here!
If your comments are on a small number of specific cards, they may be better added to those cards. This is for comments on the set as a whole.
