Sure the creature can attack your Mox, but then what provision is there to describe what happens when it's time to allocate combat damage?
And why would anyone want to pay 18 mana for that (or for anything other than Erratic Explosion fodder)?
I kept red on since the idea behind the card was destruction being nothing more than creation and that both are needed.
This does allow things like Stone Raining your own lands to dig up Urza's Tower or Cloudpost. Reap and Sow entwined will find two different Urzatron pieces. But yes, I agree it's overcosted.
I don't like it in red, mostly because it's the color that most wants to destroy lands. It also costs too much. Compare to Sacred Ground.
