I forgot that Vigilance is Secondary
, I retract my objections. It's fine as it is. :)
I mean, it's not like green doesn't have access to vigilance. There are 20 mono-colored green cards with the mechanic in its text.
(Sorry about not making a proper link. Mulitiverse doesn't like links that include brackets and parenthesis.)
And while dude is right that Green doesn't technically have 'Vigilance Bears', I would say that Brushstrider is close enough.
(Edit by Alex: I fixed the link. To link to sites with brackets you need to use the [description][1] format with another line reading [1]:URL. Or just <a href>.)
I think vigilance bears are totally okay for green. The closest thing is Steward of Valeron.
Yes but CS untaps all your other creatures... CS > Refresher being able to untap itself.
Even Copperhorn Scout doesn't untap itself.
Did she not start at
,
: Add
to your mana pool ? I was almost certain there was a filter-to-colourless creature in the original set. I think this is where she wants to be, and she will be a high pick even if we go the simple filtering route.
Or something like "Desert Mirage"
I feel like Streamstress is bound to say in some way but I'm not sure how I feel about it becoming Renowned Weaponsmith style. Sure it helps
and
but
and
suddenly lost some steam (pun intended) for themself. Maybe
,
: Add
to your mana pool? She then truly turn into a 'steam'stress as she starts to purify some mana.
Seeing it here, I think I misworded it at first. The plan of this was to allow
a respite for a turn from artifact at the cost of his own artifact being tapped on his next turn. So everyone is back to basic for a full turn, ending with the caster. A Lorthos wording would clear that thing up.
Keep in mind that this card was designed while I had confounded Thrash and Recycle. So I'm all in favor of this being modified to fit with whatever version of the GB mechanic we end up with.
This would add a bit of complexity but what about "When ~ attacks, X attacking creatures you control gains trample where X is the number of artifacts in your graveyard." or something like that? Other than that, I will make a full explanation on the thread but what if Thrash became Thrash N, with it's default being at 3 but cards like this could have Thrash 4-5?
That or some sort of conditional untap (artifact to the grave? "~ doesn't untap unless an artifact entered the graveyard since the beginning of your last turn"?)
I feel like "1,T, Discard a card:" would be perfect.
As it stands, Zooicide would play this all day long. So probably either "gains +1/+0 and menace" or "there is a basic land"
I'm not sure giving semi-vigilance to green is too much. You want to risk your untapper just to untap it? Go ahead. A la Inspire, you are risking your creature just to reap it's benifits. But if you do, no ramp for you and potentially a dead creature for not much.
I am fine with that. New name "Foundry apparition"?
Agreed
That is already better.
What do we want most : a costly creature with free activation, or a cheap creature with a costly activation? Or both like Bloodier mentor? I think our three drop slots will be easily filled, and this would fit better with the rest of the commons as a two mana option with some activation cost.
for the activation and a 2/1 body?
I am in to try it as an attack trigger, although Trash is, in my opinion, easier to enable than both constellation and formidable, as once you have it enabled, there is little your opponent can do to turn it off, as opposed to Reduce in stature or the likes for Formidable.
Looks good, but
should be good with that ability. And the trash enabling is completely removed right?
How about something similar to Lust for war?
Short circuit 2R
Enchantment aura
Enchant artifact
Whenever enchanted artifact becomes tapped, Short circuit deals 2 damage to that artifact's controller.
As long as enchanted artifact is a creature, it attacks each turn if able.
Mind you that might still turn out to require a move to uncommon.
Other options having to do with artifacts tapping:

"~ deals 3 damage to target player unless they tap all artifacts the control."
"as an additional cost to cast ~, tap all artifacts you control. ~ deals 1 damage to target player for each artifact that tapped this way."
"~ deals damage to target player equal to the number of (tapped?) artifact they control"
Ghirapur Aethergrip variant
Permanent: "whenever an opponent taps a noncreature artifact, ~ deals 1 damage to them"
How about

"Exile an artifact from your graveyard: ~ gains flying UEOT."?
I like that idea Circeus, it'd push this part of blue more towards artifacts (where it's suppose to be) rather than towards some sort of ramp archetype. You never know maybe we might want that ramp archetype depending on where the
draft archetype winds up. (Pun not intended ... this time)
It feels
or maybe
but Circeus is right, this isn't a
effect.
I agree, maybe

or
would be better.
How about making this a 1/2 Renowned Weaponsmith without the fetching ability?
