This is a functional, possible, but not quite fascinating design. Certainly suffering from "sequel decay".
If I was trying to keep the card as much as it is as possible, while making it more interesting, I'd probably make it a 3/2 that enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters - at an appropriate upcost. But it still wouldn't capture the essence of what Hanweir is.
Hanweir is telling a very particular story, and it's hard to capture lightning in a bottle again since the very very interesting concept of the creature/place is the melding of the inhabitants into a creature, but this card wants to represent the creature/place afterwards.
The only thing distinguishing this from a more generic Ooze design is the 3/2 Eldrazi Horror token.
Have you considered capturing the creature/location feel by making this a "sometimes land" design similar to Dryad Arbor or Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle? I think it would be cute to imagine Hanweir to sometimes lay low and pretend to be a normal place that just sometimes appears next to an existing hamlet and says stuff like "Hey fellow normal town, what a lovely day to not be a horrifying enormous Ooze monster, isn't it? Don't any of your townsfolk hang out with my townsfolk for dinner?"
Let's bounce some ideas of one another: Hanweir, Lurking Hamlet
I obviously am enamored with the idea to expand upon the unique flavor of this legendary.
