Yeah, at first I wasn't sure it was possible to make an interesting card for Grinder, but we came up with lots of really interesting ideas so it was really well chosen.
I know this isn't really the place for this question, but Jack's joke got me thinking. I have this weird assumption that I'm the only gay guy on Multiverse. Is that true?
Well, it's not a terribly weird assumption. According to Wikipedia, only 3.8% of people from the United States identify as gay, bisexual, or transgender (A lot of people on Multiverse hail from England, I know. And England doesn't got our bible belt. But I presume the numbers in Europe ain't that different. Let's just round up to 4%.) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_demographics_of_the_United_States
That's a smaller number than the 'one in ten' figure that's bandied about. Probably because homosexuality isn't a destination, but a spectrum. After all, a Williams Institute report found 11% who admitted to harboring a same sex attraction at some point. But we're talking about how people identify themselves, neh? And if that's the case, we should probably stick to the 4%.
So run the numbers. 4 goes into 100 25 times. One in every 25 identify as LGBT. There's only 10 or so really consistent posters. So it is possible, but more of an outside chance. If we counted everyone who's made some sort of consistent contribution in the past 2 years however... what's that, like fifty plus people? Odds say one of those people is likely to identify.
Though, I got to apologize, Link. I found the statistical riddle to be interesting, but completely ignored the human element. I'm not, but we had this conversation before. I should probably let someone who is actually LGBT do the talking...
I sort of want this to be "
: Target bear fights target other bear" :)
Jack created Crim, Rakdos Gadgeteer, and I created Uncontrolled Overloader and Sprocketflinger.

Jack! Omg. Was that a Grindr joke?
That's what I meant, although I was worried, I hoped it would come across as sweet not making fun.
It was freaking hilarious and very unexpected.
I'm rather happy to find that "make a card for Grinder" was practically a challenge all by itself. ;)
