See Challenge # 100. Mirroria based; so I have to do a DFC. Ugh. I guess in a set of nothing but it's kinda interesting; everyone can just play with the top card of their library revealed.

Mirroria style guide

Due to (literal) magic, everything is mercurial. Various colour-based nations exist.

So; the blue guys worship transformation as an act of god? I like that, we can do stuff with that.

Here we have a trap-quest. Cheap, easy to make into a fairly stompy human as he absorbs changes - but go too far and whoomp, he's a tree.

Hahaha! Nice!

A tree, mind you, with 3 +1/+1 counters on it. One of the toughest trees I know.

Sure, if you bring the forest to life; well, he's got a wealth of experience to go whomping on people with.

Just had a thought - does it stay non-tree long enough to gain a fourth counter from itself transforming?

Hm. Sadly not. In general, you look at the board state after an event to see if anything triggered. Unfortunately there's a huge category of exceptions for death triggers, which all have to look at the board state beforehand, but they're exceptions (just more numerous than cases that actually obey the rules).
