For Challenge # 043. Oh, look, it's a drawback that one can work around. Why didn't we mention this idea up front? Admittedly, it's a bit harder to make a card with a casting cost 7+ have a drawback and still be appealing, though. I had to drop indestructibility on this thing to make it reasonable.
Hmm, seems a bit high in CC to have as an uncommon to me, unless the set is Rise of the Eldrazi, hehe. As for the card, it seems ok, but maybe a bit weak for Spike's taste. Reminds me of Avacyn, Angel of Hope but weaker, and Spike doesn't even like that card much.
If the card seems weak, just increase the power until it's strong enough. I forgot about Avacyn. You're right... this should be bigger. Edited.
11/inf trample. With a drawback that's secretly an advantage?
It costs 8, and ends games in... umn, yeah, ok, it might end them in 1, probably in 2, possible never. So to use this I'd really want to be making use of that 'drawback' - but I can't do that without more turns. Though, I gues sI've proved I've got 8 mana, so just a bunch of flashback stuff might be enough.

The last ability seems somewhat bizarrely worded. I assume it wants to be something like:
