The simplest form of vortex, what would be in the first set in a block. It's only a cost-reduction mechanic, similar to suspend. There's plenty of room for it to grow.

Seems very similar to suspend, except that it's face down. And I suppose that you have to pay mana for it but can leave it around if you don't want it. Which is a very interesting tweak on suspend, I'll definitely give you that; reminiscent of Illusionary Mask.

I do note that it contains both exile and counters, either of which is an indication that a mechanic may end up being Fiddly; and that it may be even more confusing than suspend or morph, which is not a good place to be on a common mechanic.

But for players who aren't confused by it, it does look like it'd be a blast to play.
