See Powder, Unlucky Tinkerer. Not sure how to get the reanimation trigger to work properly from the back
In the graveyard only the font face exists, so the ability to return Warwick from the graveyard needs to be on Vander as "return ~ transformed". Compare disturb.

There's already way too much text on the front. I could easily remove mentor, but the truce ability is 7 lines on its own. I'm going to pretend that the rule about "abilities only apply on the battlefield unless they can only work in other zones" applies to the back of DFCs too
Couldn't you make it a MDFC with "You may cast ~ only from your graveyard and only if three or more creatures you control died this turn.", then swap front and back?
Actually, it feels like you could save a lot of text on the truce ability by using "each other" or similar wording:
> At the beginning of combat during your turn, target opponent may draw a card. If they do, draw a card and until your next turn neither of you may attack if the other is the defending player.
Now that I look at it more closely... Is that a free recurrable 5/5 for dredge/mill?
MDFCs have the same problem of the back face not existing when it's in the graveyard, but I could handwave that the same way, sure. Putting a mana gate on it is a good idea
TDFC -> MDFC
> "then swap front and back"
This is a top down design. He starts as Vander, dies, and is resurrected as Warwick. I can't change that
