My understanding is that you'll get ETB triggers but not ETB replacement effects
I'm not at all sure how that works.
You make a vanilla token, and then use mutate technology to add the abilities of the sacrificed creatures to the token. It's definitely weird with how ETBs work with it, so I should decide which way I want it to work and reword it. I guess let's assume that it gets no ETB effects as written

You get neither. The creature token enters the battlefield as it is created. As only the next part of the effect returns the the "sacrificed creatures" to the battlefield and merges them onto the token the newcomer didn't have the triggered ability quite yet at the moment it entered the battlefield and merging the cards does not count as entering the battlefield.
You will get merge triggers though.
If you want ETB triggers (and also don't mind ETB replacement effects) I'd word it as "create a token that is merged with those creatures". Or you would have to use the term "simultaneously" to tie the merge event into the token creation event. But without it they are done in order.
I think I'm happy with this not being a flicker enabler. Enough of those in the game already
You don't get mutate triggers though, because this isn't mutate. It's like attach vs equip
1 -> C in ability
