Challenge completed. Abednego Otaibi, Abednego's Dreams and Abednego's Banishment.
Oh, hey, look at that. No picture for
yet in Multiverse.
Did you mean Imaginary Pet? That deck sounds fun...
For Challenge # 004, Abednego Otaibi's version of an unsummon spell. I personally dislike
, but at least the card is simple enough that all the confusion is funneled into that odd casting cost.
The Banishment dovetails into Abednego's strategy by targeting multiple things (something his +1 wants you to do), and returning things to its owner's hand (something his ultimate wants you to do). My first thought was to make this:

Instant
Return X target permanents with a converted mana cost of Y or less to its owner's hand.
which would have been murder on the creature tokens, but perhaps a bit too expensive for anything else.
Heh, reminds me of my Imaginary Pet + Spawnbroker combo deck :)
Oops, I read it the way he did too. Sorry. :)
@jmgariepy: You might want to read this and her +1 again. She's Goblin War Drums, this is Familiar Ground... I thought the combo (a reference to that old classic combo) would be obvious, but if two people misread it, perhaps I need to alter the phrasing?
That was my thought, too. This should work with Sentra, not clone her ability. Maybe it could get a bonus from being blocked by multiple creatures. EDIT: Never mind. :)
@L2i0n0k7: It seems such a natural effect for a planeswalker ultimate that I actually had to check it hadn't already been done. It's the classic "I probably-but-not-necessarily win now" sorcery, which perfectly characterises planeswalker ultimates.
@jmgariepy: Mm, perhaps I could make the top two abilities both +1s, and start her at 4.
Sorry, I read your comment completely wrong. I don't even know what I thought it said. Haha. Anyway, is this too good?
Kudos for a cool name and for making an illusion-lord planeswalker, but I just don't think I would use him. I would just hate to use his last ability, generally, even if it does combo well with his dreams.
"it" there means the Dreadnought: if you already have a 15/15, why would you want to sacrifice it just to get a new 12/12 to stick?
If trample is a consideration, there were likely much better choices for what you could have put the counters on.
Changed toughness.
You know, I do like that idea. It would be nice to have one Graft creature that's not 0/0.
He'd be so annoying to try to kill with creatures... After a certain point, it would just never happen. lol
Entry for Challenge # 004, intended to be played with Abednego Otaibi. The point, if it wasn't apparent, is that, if you ultimate, your opponent is only going to get one swing or block with this thing before you get it back. Its possible that matching commons with the Planeswalker's ultimate isn't the best strategy, but I like the card.
For Challenge # 004. That first ability takes up a fair amount of space. Ah well. I suppose I'll have to work with the smaller font. His spells are Abednego's Dreams and Abednego's Banishment.
Actually, if I was in the pit, I think I'd push to make him a 0/1 and give him Graft 2. It would still be stronger than a lot of other cards at common for
.
Very Strong. We're pushing in on Watchwolf's territory, but I think I'd fight for this card. He also passes the Litmus test of "I would play this creature with this Planeswalker".
That's awesome! It has the minor problem of being a Planeswalker that tells you what to do (activate the first ability a few times, then activate the second a few times, then activate the third) which makes the Planeswalker feel like he's on automatic. The payoff is worth it, though, in my opinion. I find it funny that you don't have to activate the -20 if you don't want to. Feel free to just let this guy go into the hundreds. I've never had a Planeswalker so loyal to my cause.
A little strange. It definately feels like a creature that has worked with Sentra in the past, but if I was playing Sentra, I wouldn't play this card, since it gets no benefit from her +1 ability. Maybe if the two could be aligned so that, when you activate Sentra's ability, you would need three creatures to block the Enforcer?
Nice. The -1 is a little odd, since it feels about as good as the +1. Outside of that, You got to respect how Sentra feels like she could have walked right out of Boros. And it's a Planeswalker that you can read the text on! Not many of those in the system...
I like her. I love Insurrection.
I created Sentra the Arbiter, Sentra's Enforcer and Sentra's Decree.
For Challenge # 004; the uncommon accompaniment to Sentra the Arbiter. A tweak on Blinding Light or Glorious Charge. Nice if either of her first two abilities have been used.
Created for Challenge # 004. See also Sentra's Enforcer and Sentra's Decree.
