@jmgariepy: That makes sense. I've created (((Upcoming Challenges))) where we can arrange that.
Upcoming Challenges:
All forthcoming challenges are up for grabs.
jmgariepy pointed out that they're coming quite thick and fast, and it'd make sense to pace them out a bit better. I agree. So I propose that if you want to post a challenge, you sign up in the discussion thread here, and the challenges get posted once a week, on some regular day of the week (e.g. each Friday or each Monday).
Existing challenges are listed on the All Challenges page.
Hey, by the way, I got a good idea for a design challenge, but its possible we're doing these too fast. I'm really enjoying seeing what people come up with, but we're already up to 5 full pages of updates in what has probably been 3 days! That's a lot of reading, responding and designing! Can we come up with a formal way of doing this? Set up the next challenge at the beginning of the week, and establish who the next person to drop a challenge is in a more orginized fashion?
Goblin Battletoad, Thief of Honor and Focus of Ire. Therer were so many rares being thrown around, that I felt a few uncommons were in order.
Challenge # 003. Probably a bit too simple, but definately mean. I imagine this guy waltzing around the battlefield with a flag plunged through his chest.
Challenge # 003. Went for an "Honor among Thieves" motif, and perhaps a bit of Robin Hood. Either way, this is the kind of pirate that adventure stories are made of... and the kind of pirate that all the other pirates save when he's in trouble.
Challenge # 003. Frogs stick out tongue and snatch people. Sounds like Provoke. What really pleases me is that this creature has a lure effect, and flying, and they aren't really getting in each other's way.
Oh, yes, thank you.
I like this cycle. Very strong cohesive feel. for some reason, I also thought of this "Shrouded from Caster" when working on this cycle. Odd.
Good ability, but flying does muck that up a bit. It feels like you got a good idea for a red Sphinx, and decided that the idea was more important then the implementation.
Wow! That's three solid cards! I would be happy to slam any of these in a deck I was playing.
Oh. Nice.
Good card. I'm not a fan of resetting everyone's life total after a long game... but evidently many other people are, because they keep reprinting that giant from Lorwyn block in multiple products.
