Perhaps the additional text helps. "Imagine a player can't draw cards, doesn't have a hand, has no combat phase, or anything else you can imagine. These are still elements of the game but one player does not have access to them. Design a card or cards that would act as a prosthesis, that is something that accomplishes what cannot be done without doing it."
I, uh, I don't understand what this is asking for. Like, at all.
Huh. That's rather open-ended Sorrow. I could argue that every card is a prosthesis for an element of the game I might not otherwise have access to. What exactly did you have in mind?
Pretty much, and pretty much. I should point out that just the prospect that you have this in your hand should make it that much more difficult for a nervous person to properly aim their card. ;)
Haha. Is the idea that you throw your hand at the opponent's lobbed cards? That sounds... hard. But I guess that's what dexterity cards are about :)
...oh! I assumed it meant seven feet above the table. Which seemed difficult -- if the table is three ft high, not all rooms ARE 10ft tall.

Hermit Fiddler
For Challenge # 151. Just coming up with alternative ways to protect your guy from Chaos Orb shenanigans.
Ah, but this card requires skill. If you can get the side you want 75% of the time, it goes right back into the Timmy/Spike camp.
Also, if you can train a parrot to catch a Magic card in mid-lob, you deserve all the ice cream in the world.
I presumed most people would stand when lobbing the fireball. Seven feet is just a foot or two above most people's heads. A table is a pretty large target, after all.
Oh, nice. I like the way the tossing is naturally connected to the game.
Although I worry about the "not flat" bit, I'd assumed the table would be cleared for this sort of thing, if not, are you allowed to scatter dice across it or something?
Aether Flurry
See Challenge # 151. Wording is probably off, but I think it gets the idea across. Not like there's official wording for a lot of this anyway.
Good point. I think I assumed it meant "non-dominant hand, but if it's swapped twice, you can use your dominant hand again". And that people would generally be honest about which that was. But I don't know if that would be good enough.
Completely ambidextrous people win, but I think that's fair enough.
No idea, someone should probably try that before printing it :)
But I would have thought, at least somewhat?
Can sleeved cards easily be built into a house of cards?
Another interesting one. Does one need to declare their primary activity hand when the game begins or can they use their non-dominant hand in expectation of this card being dropped?
Towers of Hubris
See Challenge # 151.
This is probably too nebulous rules-wise.
This feels like it was inspired by Molten Sentry, which was apparently hated (by Timmies for being a boring coin flip card, and by Spikes for being a playable one).
Without specifying the size of the die, I feel like there's too much outside-the-game variance.
You still need to balance on it for a round, which might be harder even.
Sinister Edict
