Yeah. That's an alright comparison, but this one doesn't affect your opponents, plus it can't attack or pop in unexpectedly. I think it compares a bit better to Primordial Sage
Wow. That's an awesome ability... but I'm not sure I can see a sane cost for it. I suppose 9 mana, by comparison with Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur.
Thanks. Yeah, I started with some sort of damage prevention (thinking of Swans of Bryn Argoll), but decided it was simpler and probably more interesting with protection. But it's probably too much now.
Fun :)
And a much more sensible rare-white-sorcery-that-makes-four-tokens-for-six-mana than Icatian Town. Probably slightly too far the other way - 8 flying power for 6 mana is perhaps a bit much - but a better spot, at least.
Was bored. Unexpected Growth, Wistful Dreams, and Council of Nature
Titanic Collapse and Swan Chariot
I think the snake told us to do it :)
Now the giant apple feels like it is ready to burst! What were we scientists thinking when we pretended to be God and create The Giant Apple?
Changed 5 creatures and 5 lands to just 5 permanents.
The apple was clearly the hardest picture for Challenge # 010, here's my best idea.
I considered trying to avoid the downside of waiting for your next turn by having it trigger when also it comes into play, or at end of turn rather than start, but didn't think that was better in the end.
By the by, that apple is an enigma. I added it to the challenge because it was taunting me.
In some Magic games, 5 untapped creatures on any side of the board is a little rare. I'd leave it at "tap 5 untapped permanents" and leave it at that. I do like how this taps out lands, and your opponent can't do anything about it. Very few interactions would do that.
I do like evil, though.
I could always reduce the numbers. Or do you think the concept just won't work?
That's what I get for doing things right when I wake up. I gave it an extra ability, though now it should probably cost more.
Oops.
Giving her Shroud so she can't target herself. Might still be too powerful though.
Yowch. Tap 5 untapped lands in addition to the 5 mana you need to cast it? If your opponent is tapping out each turn, that means you can't do it till turn 10?
Also, the additional cost will work, but it'd confuse a lot of people. Particularly evil that you can use this to neutralise a tapper or pinger out of nowhere, and it happens too fast for them to respond, even though this is a sorcery.
Wasn't the terms of the challenge that the cards had to be rare?
