Huh, keeping the cycle identity whilst shifting across colour - that's gonna be interesting.
The cycle is Llanowar Banshee, Diasporan Elf and Llanowar Regrets.
I figured increasing levels of evasion was a simple enough thing to do in multiple colours - and then realsied that to keep the cost I'd need to add a little something. Hexproof is in both green and blue, so I started there; but am not so happy with the result in black - it's too wordy for a common.
And yes. Red burned down llanowar; and white let them do it. I have no regrets
Goood challenge. I really liked this one. I didn't really address the lopsided nature though.
For Challenge # 028 The cycle is Llanowar Banshee, Diasporan Elf and Llanowar Regrets.
For Challenge # 028. The cycle is Llanowar Banshee, Diasporan Elf and Llanowar Regrets.

Changed to "Vertical Cycle" because Alex is right: That's what it's called.
Pretty much. Though, I left it open if players want to throw in a Mythic instead and cut out one of the other rarities.
So by "cycle based on rarity", you mean something like a common, an uncommon and a rare? What's normally called a "vertical cycle", except different because that would also imply they're in the same colour?
I figured that after doing so many crazy goofy challenges that people might want something a bit simple before we go into Crazy-town again. This one's got something a bit odd going on... I can't think of many cycles that operate this way, spinning around color and rarity at the same time... but still wades in the 'shallow end' of the design pool. Also, if you wish to add the fourth rarity, knock yourself out. I would suggest against adding a fifth rarity (such as timeshifted) however. The challenge is to deal with the lopsided nature of this cycle... fixing that defeats the point.
Venomous Dragonfly - 1/1/30,000
. If you do, draw a card and gain +1 eye.
Mind's Eye - Whenever an opponent draws a card, you may pay
Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore - Creatures you control cannot attack unless they have at least one eye. Creatures your opponent control cannot block ~ unless they have no eyes.
That guy wins this challenge.
Huh. You're right.
Although I guess the terms of the challenge do permit something with cost
...
:D
Art similar to Mother of Goons, right?
Ha.
For Challenge # 025
Dr. Owned
I may suggest something for #29, then.
ROFL. Yes, that's perfect.
Eye of Ugin - 0/0/1
Thoughtweft Trio - 5/5/6
Evil Eye of Urborg

Do telescope, eyeglass, spectacle and sunglasses themed artifacts need a creature with eyes to work?
Today's Savo[u]r the Flavo[u]r provides a hilariously fantastic suggestion for this: Power / Toughness / Eyeball Count:
> Grizzly Bears are the simplest at 2/2/2. Bloodshot Cyclops would be a 4/4/1. Reassembling Skeleton is a 1/1/0. Primordial Hydra gets +1/+1/+2 counters. Dark Tutelage gets reworded to include "Creatures you control get +0/+0/–2." Ocular Halo provides the enchanted creature an additional +0/+0/+20...
All for the sake of one little jar.

Very nice way to do it.
