Claiming the next challenge, which is technically number 29. Jack did 28.
Also, when are we going to draft this set? The boosters for this thing is getting insane. I did a quick run, and, among other things, got a split card, two design challenges and an ongoing scheme.
I need to find a way to turn this guy into a creature, Fate Transfer his counters onto a Helix Pinnacle which I have also made a creature, then change the loyalty counters into Helix counters. It's been 18 years Magic! Why can't I do this incredibly complicated thing yet?
Edit - bah, can't display tables :( but yeah, ultimate on T5 assuming no other loyalty lost.
Made wording modern? Weird that it wasn't. Also made him copy all creatures.
"Artifacts you control are all colors.
: Target creature you control is indestructable until end of turn"? :)
I did think about doing something like:
Put a Gold counter on target permanent.
Permanents with gold counters on them are all colors.
Permanents that are all colors gain "blah, blah, blah"...
But, figured that in the end it was better to cut to the chase. I could see this as something that has only one purpose: to take all your stuff and paint it with the colors of the wind. While I would find that amusing, I assume other people would find that to be a rather useless Mythic Rare.
Might be slightly more subtle as "target permanent is all colours (this effect doesn't end)"
Yep, that's fine now.
Weird. I can still see it. Let's see what happens when I change the web address to a similar image.
Hahahahahaha!
I don't see any reason why a card that helps get around shroud and hexproof shouldn't exist. It definately shouldn't be a 'mechanic', but a one-of answer to that super annoying card your opponent has? Sure, why not.
Kind of funny. It reminds me more of an amusement park's version of a Haunted Castle. I run in there, and a cardboard cut out of a ghost pops up and smacks me in the face.
Yeah, I created it during a break during class on my Kindle and didn't have time to add that. Thanks. :)
Created for Challenge # 028, I assume?
Yeah, it really, really feels like it should be, but it's not unique. In fact, I'm wrong to use the short name in the cost, I think, but it looks so much more natural like this.
That's exactly what it is. I've been playing a tower defense game with my friends a lot recently, and this sprang to mind.
No, actually. There are multiple sets of bells, each with the same names.
Name suggests this should be legendary?
D'oh, so it does. You could say "It can't block any other creatures this combat", but that does draw attention to the problem rather than covering it up...
Heh. I can't see the image; opening it in its own tab yields " Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/philo-stone.jpg on this server."
Yo dawg, I heard you like riding, so I put a horse on your horse so you can ride while you ride...
Oh, whoops, yes, they should have haste.
Now that the
(((

syntax is supported, there's not so much need to give cards anti-clashing names. Also, Haunted Castle and Peephole
A random hoser for shroud and hexproof probably shouldn't be printed, but I wasn't sure how I'd design a peephole, and then this popped into mind.
I'd hoped to word the second ability better so it didn't rely on saying shroud or hexproof, but I thought it shouldn't bypass protection.
Ideally the second ability would combo with the first, but I couldn't find a good way to let them be played in that order. I hesitantly let the first ability look at "any" player's library, as I felt it was odd that shroud would protect against the peephole.
