Quadruple strike! Woo!
Of course, this also gives other unblocked creatures lifelink, not to mention burn spells.
Hee. That is a pleasing set of abilities. It's kinda like lifelink but working on siphon too, right? So going unblocked, it'll deal the opponent 4 and gain you 4. Give it a Fireshrieker and it'll deal 8 and gain 8 :)
Yup. Or choose a particular planeswalker for it to attack.
Yeah, I think it should be worded that way. The current wording seems off.
I made Moonlight Spawn, Moonlight Kindred, and Moonlight Paragon. Not my most interesting cycle ever, but it'll do for now. I might try my hand at this challenge again later.

ROFL. Yes, it wasn't supposed to be that niche :)
I'm thinking this should say "enchant creature," unless you're going for a super niche aura.
Does this mean you can make the enchanted creature attack your opponents in multiplayer games?
LOL. Come to think of it, if "target creature gets +2/+2 UEOT" becomes "enchanted creature gets +2/+2" does "switch target creature's power and toughnesss UEOT" become "switch enchanted creature's power and toughness"? It seems odd, but it means what it sounds like... :)
@Alex: Yeah, true. I changed it to be "3-4" cards for the vertical cycle.
@Jack: Interesting idea, and some pretty cool cards. :)
I think it actually can work like this. Somewhat astonishingly. It's just the same as "enchanted creature gets +2/+2" or "Enchanted creature is 0/4", just applying in layer 7e rather than 7b or 7c.
It was originally "when this leaves the battlefield", but the text box was already too crowded with the morph reminder text.
I really wanted "if this moves from the battlefield to another zone, enchanted permanent goes to that zone too", which would be a cool idea, but not on a common :)
Does this work as a static effect? I think it would have to say "When ~ ETB, switch enchanted creature's power and toughness. (This effect lasts indefinitely.)"
Why when it's destroyed? Why not whenever it leaves the battlefield? Then you can abuse it with flicker effects.
This whole cycle is playable in Limited, I think. The Aura side for most of them is meh, but a 2/2 for 3 is always good.
Hm. So it's like Abundant Growth but instead of the cantrip and more flexible mana, you get the option to be a 2/2. I think this is one of the worse options in the cycle; or perhaps it's just more niche. I'm sure there are decks that'd like a Sea's Claim effect but haven't wanted to play more than Spreading Seas for it, or forestwalk decks that would like another green way to give opponents forests (more than Yavimaya Dryad). Certainly printable (assuming they sort out the rules for morph auras, which is obviously a given assumption for the whole cycle).
Reminiscent of Burden of Guilt, which was a nice design (the extra mana matters more often than you'd think).
A cycle of enemy-coloured hybrid morph auras. The idea is that there are (comparatively) simple effects in hybrid colours that wouldn't normally be played, so rather than make them cantrips, I make them morphs, usually to be played as 2/2s (to keep the morph density is fairly high), but with an effect you can use if your morph is going to die.
I decided the comp rules would be tweaked so non-permanent morphs went on the stack. (You still can't act before they go on the stack, but can respond to the aura on the stack.)

I added the cost because otherwise the aura is better than guard duty. This is probably the least-niche effect, but I wanted to use it if I could.
For Challenge # 046
A bit complicated, but I liked the idea too much -- when else would you ever get to use an effect this niche? But if you're playing the creature anyway, it's a nice excuse to maindeck your enchantment removal :)
For Challenge # 046
Really simple.
