Added Tastes Like Chicken.
For Challenge # 101.
You know, I really like all three effects here. I think a lot of people will get stuck on the "Must cast it with Fuse" mode, when the other two modes, especially Switch, are perfectly good spells in their own right.
I can never tell how much this sort of thing is supposed to cost. I got this odd problem of liking the effect, and simultaneously wishing we couldn't do this in Magic. I'm not a fan of circumnavigating the resource system... but I definitely get why other people are, and why they don't want to pay a premium to do what they think is fun. I guess this is right on the money?
Added "you may."
I made Bait // Switch and Your Best Laid Plans go Awry.
Weird card! Very neat, too.
I thought of it more as the "One" representing the "All," but perhaps inverting the effect might work better.
quite right. use "then" as suggested
Ruling thingie: I believe that "sacrifice CARDNAME and retur three permanents..." are simultaneous actions, so you could choose to return the Tempting Fate itself (even if it's going to get sacrificed at the same time). Try a "then" somewhere there.
Cool card.
That is a silly card :) Somewhere between Heartbeat of Spring and Storm Cauldron. Weird. Cool.
For Challenge # 101. Faster than fast is tough. Originally, this was going to be jump in the hand, then jump out. But I couldn't help but notice that that wasn't very different than Cloudshift. Technically, it's a better spell, since you can keep the creature in your hand... but hanging out in the hand doesn't represent being 'quick like bunny'.
So, after thinking, I decided that most people say "I'll be quick like bunny" when they're going to pick something up and come right back. Hence, the 2cc aura.
Added All's Well and Quick Like Bunny. Originally, I went to UrbanDictionary.com, hoping to get something a little offbeat. But, you know... Urbandictionary.com. Even the most polite expressions were a stretch.
For Challenge # 101. If I could have found a picture that showed multiple wells next to each other, I would have. Oh well.
In case it isn't quite clear, the point is that every land has been turned into a well. The well provides a lot of mana, but you got to take the time to drop a bucket in, and pull it back out. I was thinking about exiling the land with a bucket counter, then removing the bucket counter from exile at next uptap, then returning the land at next, next untap... but yeah.
Good split card. But 'One for All' seems like it could have been 'All for One'... it's a little selfish. Wouldn't it make more sense for one creature to do something for everybody, than for one creature to do something equal to the number of creatures?
