Created for Challenge # 101. Looking down the list of cliches starting with "d", I found "don't tempt fate" as one of the more fertile possibilities. It had to be blue, and have some risk of blowing up in your face, and probably wants to interact with the top card of your library. Of course a blue mage will likely be pairing this with some repeated scry effect or similar, but even then there's still a chance you hit a glut and the name proves appropriate :)

Ruling thingie: I believe that "sacrifice CARDNAME and retur three permanents..." are simultaneous actions, so you could choose to return the Tempting Fate itself (even if it's going to get sacrificed at the same time). Try a "then" somewhere there.
