Your opponent must block, but he or she would get to choose which Merfolk he or she blocks. That said, it a very-Spike and Johnny friendly mechanic. Trying to figure out how many, and which Merfolk you should play in this deck could keep a conversation going all night.
Is that meant to be "Target creature with defender you control"? At the moment, it reads like "target blocking creature you control", which there obviously won't be any of.
Took me a while to realise you were changing the pronunciation. For a while I was assuming there was a brand of car I hadn't heard of called Tower, like Triumph or Focus or whatever.
Tower Drake
ForChallenge # 025. I guess sometimes the card name in question doesn't need to be altered at all...
Though, now I'm starting to wonder if I chose the best card of the lot. "Hero of Leinas, Tower" sounds pretty tough. I think she drives Aliban's Tower for Coastal Tower. Back in '72 she lead a Siege of Towers while driving a Tower of Calamities.

Oh, hey, you can put counters on exiled cards. That's the point of Suspend, after all. It's a good idea, though possibly an argument for another day. Big Zam's a bad example because it's so big... it feels like it deserves the Command Zone. But if this was a major mechanic in a set, I'd probably agree with you... just a pity it requires more words.
I did edit the card, though, to put Zam tokens into play. :)
Haha!
Thinking about it, that's a much better type line
There's a lot of potential for doing things to Ed. Torment Ed, Hero; Train Ed Condor; Chain Ed to the Rocks; and so on and so on. (Even more so than poor Will.)
@jmgariepy: You could get around the command zone weirdness with something like instead
> When you cast ~, exile it with a mass-production counter on it. > > At the beginning of your end of turn step, if ~ is exiled with a mass-production counter on it,...
@Link: :D
should really cost some life or something to get an effect this good
I then added Ar Rest and Man a-bloom.
Chris created Nature's Pan-o'-Ply and said "modern sets needed the treatment". So I found myself looking at cards in Standard and got somewhat carried away, creating Psychic's Trike, Fat Hommage, I'll Temper Ed Cyclops, Tin's Tree™: Ark ET, Shadow's Lice, Win-Dreader Sphinx and Slate's Tree Truff, Ian.
Bwahahaha at the flavour text! Awesome!
