I'm not sure what happens if a person casts Shame on me in response to my Nourish while I control no creatures. Is Nourish effectively countered, or is Shame effectively countered? I gain 6 life? Hmm...
Ridicule is a very solid hybrid design. I think it's only been seen in black before but it makes perfect sense in red.
Shame is... strange. It's like False Cure or Flames of the Blood Hand, or Everlasting Torment. I think it'd make more sense in red than in white, as it's not much use in white when white is gaining life for itself.
Ugh, I rad a rough time with this challenge. Here's my attempt though Shame // Ridicule
Challenge # 106b//Challenge # 106b
Izzetification Charm
For Challenge # 106.
Already did for a previous challenge about charms:
Ordered Charm Elitist Charm Intellectual Charm Creative Charm Intense Charm Underworld Charm Wild Charm Proactive Charm Communal Charm Adaptative Charm
Creation Charm has 3 modes, 2 that work from the hand.
Boros Tutor Charm
For plain old Challenge # 106. I was trying to figure out yet another way to twist the charm cycle, and I thought it would be cool if the charm searched for 3 useful, but power low cards. Since I think I would have lost a few people if I started making up 3 underwhelming cards to tutor for, I just figured that the 3rd Ravnica block can support a total of 30 common reprints over the course of the set, assuming the cards were useful enough.
For reference, the cards are Aerial Maneuver, Fiery Conclusion and Skyknight Legionnaire. One white, one red, one gold. Also one from City of Guilds, one from Return, and one that's already been reprinted.
Oh yes, you're "switch" is quite similar to mine after all.
I don't get much credit for "bait", I'm glad I found a pun, but only because I couldn't get "provoke" into BG :)
Does W or G get "must attack"? W gets combat-control effects and "can't block", and G gets provoke, so it might make sense, but I thought "must attack" by itself was U or R, and "must block" might be more GW?
Oh, interesting question about "switch". I think CMC 3 or less on aether charm is good for white, and I think switch is ok, but I'm not completely sure.
Very nice :)
LOL! Awesome use of an unlikely name. I love how "rinse" makes sense. And "repeat" is a good R/B effect I mightn't have thought of if I wasn't looking for something for that name.
@Jack, shroud is basically the same thing, but better. My attempt goes in a different direction: Anarchomancer
I tried with Feast // Famine.
"Final power?"
Meditation Charm has 3 modes , 2 that work from the hand.
Viscera Charm has two spell modes and a graveyard mode.
Supreme Charm has a spell mode, a library mode, and a hand mode. Repercussion Charm has crazy stacked modes.
