In particular, even though the card type didn't exist back then, Planeswalker was canonically translated as "Warlord", not "General".

Thank you. Yeah, there's a lot of XR spells with slight advantages over each other, it's hard to find a sweet spot. I think is is usually worse because "x to creature" is usually more useful than "1 to all creatures", but it will sometimes be the right choice, and any x spell is good if it's the only one in the environment.
Well, it's probably better to have multiple interpretations, even if that wasn't the original intention!
In order to crop for aspect ratio, I ended up shifting to the left and cropping the soldier out. Which is fine. I wanted to focus on the gun anyway. But, yeah, the image is a bit confusing without reference, admittedly.
Oh, very nice. It's not better than Fireball, but I'd run it over the ball on occasion anyway, since the occasion when it's the right tool sounds awesome.
@Jack: Thanks. I tried to get a mix of genres in there. Really couldn't find a good Netrunner 'inside the net' pic, though, and wasn't willing to spend hours trying to figure out. I had to settle on card number 10 to represent.
Oops, I totally missed that, I thought it was a spaceship :)
Hyperspace Splashray and Blind Scentpack
That is incredibly useful. Thank you Alex.
Nice!
Let's see... there's Phyrexian Rebirth, Desolation Angel, Reiver Demon, Dread Cacodemon, Martial Coup, Kirtar's Wrath with threshold, Hythonia the Cruel, Mageta the Lion, Magister of Worth, Myojin of Cleansing Fire, Sunblast Angel, Skirk Fire Marshal... there's quite a few of them. Though for the most part they try to leave you with something big rather than small, it seems.
...And on the way out there's Child of Alara, Bearer of the Heavens, Bloodfire Colossus, and a few others too.
