I thought about it. But I think this is fine as a very pushed rare. It does need mana to be committed and it operates very well like an aetherling as it is one of those control finishers

That is one very spicy combination of abilities. Particularly with ", : Draw a card", last seen on Mercurial Chemister. This actually looks possibly suited for mythic, to me.

I hate to point this out but this is a red Grizzly Bears, which doesn't happen.

Or... I suppose that last ability could sortof be counted as a drawback? Is that the idea here? Hmm, yeah, that might be okay.
