bonds of faith fits the set better
Hee! Cool! Like Ponder but you don't get to choose the order - but at instant speed as compensation. You always get land first, which will often be what you're looking for, but not always. Interesting!
now an instant (was a sorcery)
Somebody originally convinced me that instant speed flicker to dodge spot removal was complicated specially for new players and since in this set flicker was already fairly complex due to the amount of possibilities (in particular, flickering an unearthed creature or renewed Aura to reset it), it was better to make this a sorcery. But recently somebody else convinced me that flicker is essentially lenticular since you don't get to see all the stuff you can do with at first glance, so I'm buffing this to instant speed to make the card a bit more exciting.
For Constructed purposes, it's probably better to have "another" so that decks don't just play one 4x set of Expedition lands and no others.
Do you think this might look better as a keyword and something keying off that keyword?
"Expedition (When this enters the battlefield, name a land as your destination.)
When Royal Palace enters the battlefield, if it was already your destination, tap up to three target creatures."
I didn't think I'd care for an Egyptian themed set, but so far I'm impressed. I especially like the "worship" mechanic.
It will be probably be difficult to come up with a full 200 cards without significant help though.
2/4 (was 3/4)
Yes, I could just word it as
> Regenerate target creature you control. You may have it fight another target creature.
However, the whole hullabaloo with regeneration shields is super counter-intuitive to new players, so I prefer a template that avoids regeneration weirdness.
"another creature" to avoid confusion in edge cases
fix name in text box
plural of ainok is ainok
change name to Camelicorn (was unicamel), revert to original typing
Actually, I like Vitenka's "camelicorn", that's better than "unicamel". But I agree with L2i0n0k7 that "Camel Unicorn" feels more natural (it was my original version after all).
I would argue that "Unicorn" is the class/modifier here, and that this should most certainly be "Camel Unicorn."
