And sometimes I wish I could Overrun on my opponent's turn as a combat trick, but that doesn't mean instant speed is a better design. Vigilance on an instant is a bad idea.
It could be, but there's a slim chance you might need to buff your creature's and give them first strike to block, so I have it at instant.
Nice. A white Overrun, reminiscent of Titanic Ultimatum or Flying Crane Technique. The option to get it for very cheap makes it feel mythic. The vigilance is very sensible but makes me think this should be a sorcery.
Do you mean "and all permanents attached to it?"
The latter was the idea, though there's no fetching/tutoring in this block unfortunately.
What if it was "until the end of your next turn?"
A Flamespeaker Adept for opponents' lifegain. Nice idea. Problem is, a lot of things that give opponents life will be in their second main phase, or e even in combat (from lifelinkers) which is just too late for the bonus to be any use at all.
This won't trigger how you want it to. This deals damage in two chunks of 4, neither of which will trigger this. It'd probably need to be a trigger like "At end of combat, if ~ dealt 8 or more combat damage to a player this combat, ..."
Seems strictly worse than Forced Adaptation unless someone's using fetchlands into shocklands. Oh...I guess you could play this before a land to get its trigger the turn you play it.
Hey, you could always only spend two - to get a net two card loss!
Bleh! Seems rather worse than Vision Skeins and Noggle Ransacker, among others. 4 mana is way too expensive for symmetrical draw.
Yeah, I wanted to make it common since the ability is now normally at common now, but I created this version with X in my mind.
