Yeah, it's probably a little cheap for the draw. I upped the CMC to 6.
You can use it in lieu of Stifle to keep Phyrexian Dreadnaught alive (although to do it that way, you have to sacrifice the original and keep the token), and the extra

gets 12 cards in the bargain. Not a bad kicker cost, considering.
That's a bit cheap, I think.
Hmm. I could see the problem of this being repeatable with the tokens being problematic, but the cost hopefully balances that out since you're paying for a Grizzly Bears with each sacrifice, and the black means you at least need to be genning a high amount of black mana (so you're either loaded up on swamps or can untap some kind of lotus or Den of Whispers). Color was only included to limit the power of the card and keep it at the uncommon level, weakening it for draft play. Non-zombie definitely is flavorful, but aside from shapeshifters for immediate flavor purposes this set has no interest in tribal, where I fear non-Zombie clause also pushes the card.
What about whenever you sacrifice a non-Zombie creature? Still flavorful, but if color matters it won't be appropriate. In that case, nontoken black creature.
In addition to the lack of a token color, I like how
is being used as a verb.
Are the tokens black? If so, that's one heck of an engine support card. If not, their type shouldn't be Zombie as all Zombie tokens printed so far have been black.
Flame Slash at instant speed because of a condition. Unintentionally a way for red to deal with enchantments (auras at least).
After coming up with the spell I wanted the name to reflect it as a signature spell of (((Shori of the Burning Blade))). Unfortunately I couldn't come up with a good name for that. Everything was either dull like Shori's Slash or sounded to animesque like Foxfire Severing Blade.
Inspired by coca leaves. Oddly enough I find it funny that drug problems exist both in Eluim and Coaxkika.
This was also meant to be a common, but while the concept seems simple, when put on a card it felt like its complexity needed to be upped to uncommon.
