if he survives the raid, he leads the next one
costs probably all need work
was thinking about sporoloth ancient this morning
i'll probably need to decide at some point whether i want cards to give creatures counter removal abilities, or whether i want cards to remove counters from other permanents. does anyone have any thoughts on whether there's a functional difference between the two?
another take on merfolk looter. yeah this is the red way of doing things but i like how it fits the card
really liking the two-sided growth counter creatures
the problem with the original ETB growth counter creatures was that they already had enough text as-is without making the counters conditional. spreading the text out across two cards solves this problem and means that i can make the cards work well in various archetypes as opposed to being forced to make them the focal point.
was exile from graveyard, changed to sacrifice. figure if process exiles from the yard i don't need this to overlap.
something i just noticed about the dichotomy of white/green double-sided cards and blue/black ones
in GW, the trigger occurs naturally when something happens
in BU, the trigger is an activated ability
at least that's the case for the first few i've made. might be a good way to draw a line in the sand
different take on process. i'm thinking i could split cephalids that have process and those that don't along class boundaries
another growth counter mechanic idea
Cool mechanic. But obviously can't put an easy 2 or 3 for 1 on a common that's also a bear.
Obviously there are also the issues raised by dude1818.

Ah, yes, I see that now. That is very buggy. I assume it is easily fixed by just saying "if this creature has a possession counter on it" or something like that.
You can only activate its ability once, even if you remove the counters. A bear that becomes a 5/5 once seems fine. The ability does not, because there's no way to easily note if it's possessed. Renown and monstrosity keep their counters so you can tell they've been activated. Sure there are other ways to add counters to them, but that tends to be a rare constructed case.
