Yeah, forgot the enchantment/aura thing.
I assume this is an Aura, and the Imprint is a "When ~ ETBs" effect? Fun concept :)
Oddly, I first had it as 0/2 and thought that not good enough. I think I'll compromise (that one probably suffers because it's a myr too)
Edited to be 1/2, was 2/2
You may be interested to know that the power level Wizards consider appropriate on a 3-drop darksteel creature is Darksteel Myr. But I agree, I just like the name too.
So yeah, I just like the name, really.
(and Llanowar Reborn)
Fateseal was a future sight (apparently not technically a timeshifted mechanic, but I think it was sufficiently little used), and I think wasn't that popular, so I think you'd be fine spelling out the ability if you prefer (or in silver-land using the playtest name "evil scry" or using it as an ability word before a long dash.) But I agree it's much nicer to fit with scry and let you remove cards for good.
I agree with alex that fateseal 4, or 3 mana is probably better, although for two-colour I'd think this would be strong but ok. (Fateseal 5 is likely to time walk the opponent twice, if you stack their deck with all-lands or no-lands, which is very strong. But then, they're unlikely to play this on turn 2 even if it does cost UB because of the mana requirement.)
I'd say 2 mana for Fateseal 4, or 3 mana for 5.
Ah, didn't know it had a keyword. That's less fun, but still useful. Reasonably costed?
That's otherwise known as Fateseal, named after Sealed Fate.
I had no idea what "the second effect" referred to until I read your comment. I might suggest templating it as:
Persist.
All creatures have defender.
Creatures with defender may attack as if they didn't have defender as long as ~ doesn't have a -1/-1 counter on it.
If ~ would be countered, instead put it onto the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
(That's using "Persist" as a shortcut for the reanimate-with-counter-if-no-counter effect, with the slight oddness that you have an enchantment with -1/-1 counters. This works fine, it's just unusual, although not without precedent: Afiya Grove. You could use a more sensible counter type if you spelled out the rules text of persist instead.)
A simple enough scry-other, manascrew your opponent. Annoying, but not hideous, seems prinatble to me.
Intention: If you let it stand, then it powers up all your tribal walls (which is actually quite scary in the right deck, I may have undercosted this) and animates all walls.
If you kill it once, then all creatures are walls (and that is scary enough in the right deck) - but walls aren't animated any more.
Kill it again to get rid of it completely.
And yes, way undercosted on a rethink - upping it from UW to UW2
