(was sacrifice) Which is also an interesting card, but should cost less.
Even without the last ability it's stupidly good. As SM said, Demonic Consultation is played in Legacy; this does the same every turn...
Ah, this one doesn't work so well: the default interpretation of this would have that player choosing which one to sacrifice...
That wording would do the same thing, yes. Actually, let's see if we can't get the other half of the card in whilst I'm at it.
Edit: I'm mortally certain that last effect is WAY too good in mtg, though. Edit2: It was 'draw until you have 5 cards' which is just wayyy too good in mtg, made it draw one, which is still darn nice.
How about Sphinx of Jwar Isle that also lets you exile the top card of your library at any time? Free Demonic Consultations!
Added a little bit to it, but yeah, midly plausible to cheat with it.
Though it also lets you draw to replace, trash that... it's kind of a dangerous seek.
Edit: Sacrifice ~ if you do that annoying flicky thing, or shuffle your hand, or otherwsie try to slip cards from your sleeve...
Nice implementation. Sadly it runs afoul of the "Yes, sir, this land was the card I drew this turn, sir, not the awesome spell in my hand" problem, but wording it to avoid that would be much more fiddly.
And that completes the cycle.

I can't tell what this is channeling at all. Weird card.
The reminder text is incorrect. But you can add "You may look at that card at any time" to the first ability. That'll help it fit on the text box better as well...
:) It's actually a rather natural idea. I'm surprised I've not seen it suggested before. I wonder if we could assemble a whole cardset like that?
It's card drawing, for
, but it's SLOW card drawing, with a potential downside. It seems fair.
I think we can all see where I'm stealing from, here.
