More directly Pestilent Torso, but yes :)
Huh, Delerium Skeins is usually going to be eactly this; except in quite odd cases where you aren't running more ways to make them discard and they're running Ivory Tower.
So I guess cmc4 is righter than 5. That's treating it as a disadvantage on the creatures; rather than the creature being a speedbump on the way to making it a sorcery. Which also feels wrong.
There's also Dark Deal, Delirium Skeins, Ill-Gotten Gains, and perhaps most relevantly Mindslicer and Sire of Insanity. So it looks like this should cost about 5 mana.
(The flavour text also evokes Farewell to Arms...)
I couldn't say. All I know is that Wit's End costs 7, and playing all the cards in your hand isn't that hard, if that's what your deck was geared to do.
Round 1: Mana Elf
Round 2: 2-3 Mana Elves
Round 3: Reasonable mid-range creature + Cycle of Winter while Hellbent.
What is a good cost for this effect? See Cycle of Seasons for inspiration.
The generator made this.
It's really clever! 5 damage to you and opponent for 4 is a nice red-like thing to have; and about the right cost. And it gets really good in multiplayer; but it's allowable to be.
Yeah. You need manaburn back to stop that :)
The name is a poor fit for the card. I also find it really hard for a template of "Do something". Attacking/blocking should count as somethings. As should drawing a card in that phase :)
Interestingly/unfortunately, this probably actually slows the game down, as people work out which lands to tap-for-nothing in which phases.
Ancient Justified The Ends Don't Justify the Means etc.
Always liked this card from Monty Python and the Holy Grail CCG. ;)

Obviously heralds a new cycle of lands. Just to tempt a certain demographic into finding a reason to use them.
See Justified. And Ice cream vans.
Re: The Ends Don't Justify the Means
manacost
Re: Lloyd Asplund (And also Gemb, Wolfcaller - I made myself a recurring character!)
I guess at some point I need wolves that get bigger when blocked; or something :)
Aww, it seems Tutu Cat has lost its image to the vagaries of the internet.
From a toothychat silliness
Clive: [13:01] s/skins/sounds/ Clive: [13:01] Competitive Goldfish skins like a Magic card in its own right. Or a modified Munchkin monster.

This could be pure red, with the addition of "Then, you take two damage."
Or even purer red with "Random player re-rolls their life total"
Um, make it a sorcery.
